Coup de Coeur francophone: Vincent Vallières cancels his tour

Regina, November 15th, 2011 – Due to serious illness, Vincent Vallières has cancelled his Coup de coeur tour in Saskatchewan. He is also unable to reschedule his tour with the Saskatchewan Coup de coeur partner, Conseil culturel fransaskois.

However, the tour will go on thanks to many local and neighboring artists! On November 16th, Saskatoon will showcase local artist Michel Lalonde at the Bassment with the Acadian artist Marie-Philppe Bergeron as the opening act.

Prince Albert will present local artist Annette Campagne accompanied by Gent Laird on November 17th. The Franco-Manitoban artist Marijosée Clément will open the show.

In Regina, Annette Campagne along with her gospel Choir will present a concert full of soul. Marie-Philippe Bergeron will be opening; this show will take place on November 18th.

To conclude the tour, Annette Campagne will split the stage with Marie-Philippe Bergeron on November 19th in Gravelbourg.

Founded in Montreal in 1987, Coup de coeur francophone presents national and international performing artists every year. In 1995 the pan-Canadian Network Coup de coeur was created. Today it has ten active partners in French communities across the country and presents an average of 140 shows in more than 30 cities.
